The surreal Minatur Wunderland

Today we went to the Minatur Wunderland, a train museum in Hamburg. via flickr I was never really into miniature trains, but I found this place pretty amazing, in the surreal, hyper-real way that miniatures can be. The museum is two large stories in an old warehouse in the Speicherstadt, and includes a dozen or so gigantic dioramas.
