The Ernst Deutsch Theater has been an established part of the Hamburg theatre scene since 1951. Today it is the largest privately operated theatre in Germany and the only private theatre in Hamburg with its own workshops. Many celebrated actors have played and still play on this stage, quite a few begin their career at the Ernst Deutsch Theater.
